Trading Risk Disclosure
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Crypto trading can be volatile and leveraged. A journal helps you review decisions, but it cannot remove market risk.
01You can lose money
Prices can move quickly against you. Leverage and liquidation can wipe out a position faster than expected. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
02Leverage, funding, and slippage
Perpetual futures involve funding payments, leverage, and liquidation risk. Actual fills can differ from the prices in your CSV due to fees, funding, slippage, and partial fills.
03Data can be incomplete
Exchange exports vary by account type, region, and date. A CSV may omit fees, funding, transfers, or one side of a position. Always verify imported trades against the exchange before drawing conclusions.
04No advice or signals
SureGain does not tell you what to buy or sell. Metrics such as win rate, R-multiple, and profit factor describe past data, not future outcomes.
05Past performance
Past performance is not indicative of future results. A positive backtest or journal does not mean a strategy will keep working.
06Software risk
The service may contain bugs, be unavailable, or change. Keep your own records and do not rely on SureGain as your only source of truth.
07Get help when needed
If trading is affecting your finances or wellbeing, stop and seek qualified professional support. Nothing here replaces advice from a licensed professional.
